Shipping to the United States
By using courriers like TNT, Fedex and UPS. MCDI Security Products goods can be delivered next day in the continental USA. MCDI SP provides quotation for shipping by Fedex ground, our usual carrier to the USA. You can also use your own account with Fedex, UPS or the carrier or your choice. Given normal custom delays, MCDI SP products are usually delivered next day in nearly all continental USA.
All products are delivered with the correct custom documents, namely commercial invoice, certificate of origin, FCC declaration and Dram declaration. Our usual carriers deliver MCDI SP products custom cleared. Canada and USA being part of the NAFTA trade agreement, there is no duty levied on MCDI SP products.

Shipping worldwide
MCDI SP provides quotation for shipping worlwide by TNT. All shipments come with a basic 100$US insurance or can be insured to full value. We can also work with your carrier or forwarder of choice using your account with them. All MCDI SP products leave our plant with the correct documentation namely commercial invoices, certificate or origin and Dram declaration when necessary. If you have special requests regarding those declarations or general shippping do not hesitate to contact our sales staff. Special instructions regarding custom declarations can be discussed with our sales staff.

During business hours, support is readily available in French or English. Spanish support is directly available from our South American grounp and direct phone line +514-487-0441.
Support is free of charge during MCDI Security Products Inc. business hours for holders of a valid warranty or service agreeement. Support covers initial installation and afterwards, troubleshooting during operation. It does not cover training.
Without a service agreement or warranty, service during business hours is billed at 50 euros per hour, minimum one hour. Larger interventions such as migration from one software products require longer support contract terms and are quoted upon description. Upgrade from SAMM 8 to SAMM 10 are made for a flat fee of 180USD. This fee includes a period of one month of support during MCDI business hours. Upgrade fee is deductible from the purchase price of WinSAMM when purchased within 2 months.
After business hours or without a support contract
After business hours support is only available to registered users with a 24 hours service agreement. For a service agreement please contact our sales deparment at sales@mcdi.com or by phone at 514-481-1067.
Support outside of a service agreement or warranty is billed at 50 euros per hour, minimum one hour, during MCDI Security Product business hours. RMA NUMBERS
Please contact our support staff at support@mcdi.com or by phone at+514-481-1067 if you need to return equipment. Customs and shipping instruction will be given as well as RMA number. Please note that we will not accept returns that are not post paid and customs cleared.

UNLOCKING SAMM AND WINSAMM
WINSAMM is provided as a complete trial version. To install WINSAMM,use the trial installer. WINSAMM requires a permanent unlock at the expiration of the two months trial period. MCDI SP provides unlock codes to registered users who have paid a licence for WINSAMM. This is done by identifying yourself and sending to MCDI some codes generated by WINSAMM on the PC where it will be used. To facilitate the unlock process, you can use our unlock form on the web or send unlock by email from a WINSAMM station that is connected to the internet. We strongly suggest that you cut and paste the codes to insure integrity. MCDI SP will return an unlock key as fast as possible. Unlocks are made Monday-Friday during MCDI Security Products Inc. business hours.

Dealers and distributors are listed on our distributors page. If you need to find one that is not listed, please contact us. Our equipment is currently sold in 85 countries either by distributors or directly by us when there is no distributor.
Distributors offer support locally in your language. Very often a local dealer or distributor will be able to install your equipment locally.

What type of equipment do I have?/find your serial numbers
Receivers
On all receivers, part U30 is the Eprom that contains the firmware. All have a version level.
If your serial number begins by 15 or 16 you have a TLR
On TLR+, if you have one phone connector you have a model revision 2
If you have two phone connectors, you have a model revision 4-5-6 or 7
If your serial number begins by 20 you have aTLR+
If your serial number begins by 25 you have TLR+ model revision 5. All revision 5 have built-in caller ID
If your serial number begins by 26, you have a TLR+ model revision 6. All revision 6 are without caller ID and can handle VFSK
If your serial number begins by 27, you have a TLR+ model revision 7. All revision 7 have built-in caller ID and can handle VFSK.
If your serial number begins by 50, you have an exprecium model. All exprecium have built-in caller ID and can handle VFSK. exprecium is the only model with direct upload of logic memory.
With a SA-TLR+ or Decrypta, the same logic applies. SA-TLR+ and Decrypta are fitted with a modified TLR+ as a primary component. Read serial number on the back of the unit to identify the component. Eprom version can be found at the back on a sticker or by opening the SA-TLR+/Decrypta to find part U30.
If your serial number begins by 52 or 53, you have a D3 model.
RACK16
All rack enclosures have a serial number beginning by 30. Please also read each TLR+ serial number on the board itself by opening the rack enclosure.
Remote control and display MRD1000
All MRDs have a serial number beginning by 35. Please contact us with your serial number, eprom and TLR+ specs to upgrade. Please specify if you use the remote internally or externally to a PC.
SAMM Software
A string of numbers appears at the bottom of the main menu. This string shows your serial number, SAMM level with the number of accounts the software is unlock for and SAMM update version.
If your string includes the letters DEMO, you are using our free version. Free support is not available, however the reference guide in acrobat pdf is easy to download in several languages.
WinSAMM software
From the drop down menu, click on "About WinSAMM" to display your registration information. If you have not yet purchased a WinSAMM licence or unlocked WinSAMM, TRIAL will be displayed.
